① Motor structure

②Start

There are 3 ways to start this motor:

(a) The starting winding of the motor participates in the operation, and the running speed is kept at a fixed value;

(b) The starting winding of the motor is not involved in operation. After starting, the centrifugal switch disconnects the starting winding, but the motor continues to work with the running winding coil;

(c) The starting winding of the motor is connected in series with a large-capacity AC motor to start, and after starting, it is connected in series with a small-capacity AC motor to run.

③ Reversing method

A single-phase motor has two sets of coils, one common end, one running end, and one starting end, and a capacitor AC motor is connected between the running end and the starting end.

(a) When the power supply is connected to the common terminal and the running terminal, the motor rotates forward;

(b) When the power supply is connected to the common terminal and the start terminal, the motor reverses;

Only a single-phase reversible motor with the same cross-sectional area of the running coil and the starting coil can forward and reverse, otherwise the reverse cannot carry a load

④Speedcontrol method

(a) Speed regulation of series reAC motors;

(b) Internal tap speed regulation of motor winding;

(c) AC motor thyristor speed regulation;

(d) Frequency converter speed regulation;

(e) Pole-changing speed regulation.

⑤ Advantages

Generally, the DC resistance of the running winding is several Ω, while the DC resistance of the starting winding is ten Ω to several tens of Ω.

The rotating magnetic fields of the rotor and stator of the motor rotate in the same direction, and the rotational speed is different, and there is a slip rate. The rotational speed of the motor rotor is lower than the rotational speed of the rotating magnetic field. The rotor winding generates electromotive force and current due to the relative movement of the rotor and the magnetic field, and interacts with the magnetic field to generate electromagnetic torque and realize energy conversion. The downside is that it's hard to adjust the speed.
